Marketing and communications specialist. Community manager.
Passionate about the sharing economy.
Hi, I'm Lucy.
I lead projects and campaigns related to Community at BlaBlaCar in Paris. BlaBlaCar is the world's largest ridesharing community, active in 22 countries with over 30 million members. My role is to support local teams with global initiatives to create member engagement, loyalty, and affinity.
Before this, I helped grow the Toronto sharing economy community by connecting and building relationships with entrepreneurs, companies, users and enthusiasts. I organized events, partnered with various startups, and wrote about companies in this space. In October 2014, I was selected as 1 of 24 global participants to attend a U.S. Sharing Economy Press Tour sponsored by the Washington Foreign Press Center, visiting companies in New York City, Las Vegas and San Francisco.
My previous work experience was in Marketing at Virgin Mobile, where I focused on acquiring, retaining and rewarding users. I have experience in many forms of marketing, including quarterly planning, cross-functional execution, digital marketing, content strategy, communications, social media, and events.
Check out events I've organized including ShareFestTO and other meetups in partnership with Toronto tech startups and companies.
